DNF; I didn't get far in this free book before I read more reviews--at which point I noped-out in self-defense. This story is terribly disrespectful of grieving. She rids herself of a material reminders, which of course does nothing about memories, duh. She's wishing to die to join him. But then she's in insta--love with another guy all of a sudden? This should come with Content Warnings: this is NOT how to grieve but how best to continue in one's misery, and then show a callous disregard for the wellbeing of another by lusting at him to, I guess, snuff out those awful feelings once & for all. Gah. It's just bad. Learning how to write well does not give you any knowledge of how emotions work. Obviously. Here's my simple review of this novel: http://www.sholee.net/2019/02/mpov-spirited-manor-ohare-house.html aucune critique | ajouter une critique

No, seriously, in the same paragraph the curtains were blowing but the windows were closed, and then on the next page she couldn't think in complete sentences and then spoke 4 complete sentences in a row.
Whatever, thanks, I'll pass. ( )
