An extension of Beautiful Bastard, like an epilogue. If I'd read it on its own, I don't know that I would have given it 3.5 stars. I learnt a little bit more about Chloe, and saw Bennett in a slightly different - more vulnerable - light. I still don't feel I know Chloe, she is quite foreign to me. (

It was a nice followup for Bennett and Chloe. The only thing I didn't like was the abrupt ending. (

I will start off by saying that even though I was very confused while reading this novella.... I did enjoy the overall story. I found myself stopping midway through when details weren't the same, and completely new characters were being talked about and I had no idea what was going on. I did some digging around online, only to find out there was a rewrite of the first book, and apparently some key details and character names were changed. At least I know I wasn't completely losing my mind. Good thing the plot was easy enough to follow along with.

Cute little continuation of Chloe and Ben's story. I had read the books before reading this short, but it sets up Sara's story in Stranger, too. Nothing earth shattering, but I like getting a glimpse of how the relationship of these two very independent and driven people works out. (
