"Some love is rare... All love is precious... The fourth part in the New York Times bestselling Blackstone Affair series, brings the continuing story of Ethan and Brynne, two damaged souls fighting for a hard-won love, and now the promise of a new hope to secure their happily ever after. Fresh from an idyllic honeymoon along the Italian coast, the Blackstones prepare for the birth of their precious baby while facing the challenges of settling into a new home and married life. But when specters from the past resurface, so do their lingering doubts. Fears about those things they struggle to understand about each other, threaten the very foundation of their relationship. The story of two souls who both need the other in order to be complete... A husband and a wife who learn just how rare their love truly is when faced with losing it... Two lovers who will have to lay bare their darkest fears so that they may find peace... "I need you like I need air to breathe. You are my air, Brynne." -Ethan Blackstone." --…

Love Brynne and Ethan's story. This is one of the best series that I've read in awhile. Lots of romance and hot, hot, hot! If you enjoyed this one, definitely check out other books from this author. You won't be sorry! ( )

I have loved Ethan and Brynne since the first Blackstone book. I was eager to see them handle her pregnancy and the birth of their baby and Ms. Miller delivered in the best way! There was just enough drama to make me squirm and as always more than enough love to make me swoon. I hope she writes more with Brynne and Ethan, but if not I can be happy knowing how things end up in this book. Fabulous story that everyone should read!! ( )

Brynne and Ethan are newlywed. This is such a happy occasion for both. In the 4 months they have known each other, they both have faced danger, death, and survived their pasts, although damaged. As they begin their new life together, their all consuming love protects them and helps them begin the long road to recovery, and regeneration of their hearts, with the bright future of a baby coming.

Both of them must deal with the demons from their pasts individually and together. Just like any other marriage, that first year together serves to bond them and develop their trust level in order to provide a strong foundation for a long lasting marriage.

As they seek this balance individually and together, new obstacles continue to test their resolve and love. Only Raine Miller with her masterful pen can describe Ethan and Brynne's innermost fragility. We finally come face to face with Ethan's torture during those 22 unending days in the hands of the Taliban. And as for Brynne, the inevitable confrontation with Lance will rock the reader to the core. Only by facing the past can these two lovers heal and move on.

As for the baby... well, you will just have to read this book. I would not want you to miss the exhilaration of this new life's birth. You will thoroughly enjoy reading how Ethan handles it all!

Once again I bow to the gift Raine Miller has given us with this series. I wonder if this will be the final installment? Somehow these characters have become too important for us to just bid them goodbye! ( )

Be still my heart Raine Miller! I have been with you though this entire series again, one I just stumbled upon and then ended up reading the entire series!! Then I had to wait…. and guess what! IT WAS SO WORTH THE WAIT!!! I LOVED this book! Fabulous, Fantastic, A total Ace!

Rare and Precious things was a culmination of Brynne & Ethan’s time together, a beautiful finale to their journey! We begin this book with Brynne & Ethan’s wedding. I love that they are finally getting their happily ever after in this book! Granted it doesn’t come with out hardships that fall upon them. As old ghost make themselves front and center once again, not only does Brynne have to put the past to rest, but Ethan also find a way to put it to rest for good. And they both find their way even though it’s in a way you would least expect. I love that the ever stoic, unflappable Ethan Blackstone is nervous, and I mean totally nervous about the birth of is … see you thought I would tell you. Nope you will have to read to find out that little gem of information! I just LOVED this book, I’m pretty sure this book hang-over will last a while. Its an amazing finish to and amazing couple, and I enjoyed every bit of their journey!!
