This takes place after Curran was healed in the tank. Curran is on a date at a fancy restaurant he hates and he's bored. You know right there something's going to happen when the Beastlord is bored. Then he spies Kate looking beautiful but out of place with a well polished date. Loved it when Kate sent him a bowl of milk and his response. Only complaint is it was too short!

Nice to get into Curran's head. The writing was quicker than I'm used to from the writing duo, more bare bones. I see he thinks she enjoys being in the limelight and is trying to make a name for herself still - quite a wrong impression, if only he knew by this point. ( )
