Part of the educational cultural “If You Were Me And Lived In…” series. This book introduces the reader to Mexico.

I have reviewed other books in this series and what I really like it gives you a little info at a time, which lets the reader process the new words and places.

I wish I had kids of my own to get a sense of how these books are perceived through their eyes and mind. I can only go by what my inner child likes.

Kids and older readers will enjoy learning about Mexico, and even if they know some Spanish (like me) it is still fun to learn the things I do not know. ( )

If You were me and lived in Mexico by Carole Roman
Like this series because it shows you where the country is and what they have to offer everybody.
Relatives, language, food, sports, and history,. There are questions also that kids can answer.
How to pronounce certain words is included at the end along with about the author.
So informative, like I am planning a trip there and what I want to see and experience. ( )

Not to be used as an encyclopedia set, but instead , a series of books that will open up countries around the world to young readers. Fun information with well-done sketches that entails names, foods, habits AND a short glossary!
This one makes me wish i was bi-lingual...going to try out a few words mentioned on my Mexican neighbor! ( )

I enjoyed reading this series, myself. In my opinion, each book teaches children about new cultures effortlessly - in a way that is entertaining and fully captures a child's attention. I give the whole series a definite A+! ( )

In this book of the series take a trip to Mexico. You will learn about the food, language, sports and you would learn about Chichan Itza and what is significant about the number of steps of the Mayan Temple. ( )
