This book is geared towards beginning readers and is a good way to tell if the readers are just pronouncing words or actually can understand what they're reading. The characters followed the stereotypical "smart rabbit" and "dumb, evil wolf" criteria but this was beneficial in successfully aiding young readers to identify the character's traits more quickly so they could focus on the plot. The plot was basic but well-executed. However, the readers seemed to be thrown directly into the conflict. It would have been a more interesting read if there was some build up before the conflict was identified. The message of this book was that wits always win over strength. http://www.lindahayward.com/ This book is about a wise rabbit who is always battling an eager wolf. Rabbit and his family go on a picnic and the wolf sneaks inside. Rabbit returns home and has a weird feeling. He calls into the house as if the house is supposed to answer and tricks the wolf. The wolf is then upset because the rabbit outsmarted him. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
