I've noticed that readers either really love the Blue Blood series or really hate it. For me I love it. I've enjoyed every installment along with the connected series, Wolf Pact and the Beauchamp Family. I was excited to hear there was gonna be a graphic novel. For those curious, this isn't a new story being told. But book one, Blue Bloods in graphic novel format.

While it was a story I already knew, I still found it highly enjoyable. It was also a great refresher, it's been a while since I read the first book. The art is beautiful and just as engaging as the original format. Like the books, I loved the mixture of history and the supernatural. It was also nice to actually put a face to all the characters. The only draw back I found was that I wish it was just a bit longer. It's definitely worth picking up, especially if your already a fan of the series. ( )
