2012 Britannica Student Encyclopedia is a 16 volume set of children's reference material. I found the information to be excellent and maintains the Encyclopaedia Britannica high standars of non fiction. The cost of the set and the classic encyclopedia style has fallen out of favor with libraries and students alike. The information presented is well written but students are not drawn to this style of non fiction text.
Students would prefer a single subject encyclopedia (dinosaurs, sharks, rock and minerals etc) to reflect their interest. Schools are recommended to buy the Britannica app at $24.99 year. ( )
