Andrew Murray (1828-1917) was a South African pastor who served as moderator of the Cape Dutch Reformed Synod for approximately thirty years. He was a vibrant preacher, a missionary statesman, a promoter of women's education, and a founder of many institutions. He is mainly known for his inspiring devotional works that are still avidly read by present-day Christians. Several of his works have been published as Pure God Classics. They include: Absolute Surrender, Humility, With Christ in the School of Prayer and Walking With God. Never-Before-Published Writings of Andrew Murray This combination of Murray's sermons, testimonies, and teachings has never been published before. Three of the sermons that he gave at the 1895 Keswick Convention are considered by many to be his best preaching ever. These sermons are included in this book: The Pathway to the Higher Life, Carnal and Spiritual, That God May Be All in All As you read these rich writings, you will learn how to attain to the higher Christian life and you will know the deeper meaning of this verse: "And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all" (1 Corinthians 15:24-28).
