I had no expectations going into Preston and Amanda's story and was pleasantly surprised how much it affected me. There is one thing I loved about Abbi Glines novels in The Sea Breeze series not one is alike.

Preston's character I totally adore and he broke my heart. What he does for his siblings is crazy but amazing. He has a dark secret he keeps hidden even from his best friends. He makes everyone believe he is a bad boy that all he wants is one night stands, but really that is a front for him to keep his secret hidden. Abbi Glines did amazing work on Preston's thoughts and actions when it came to a certain family member. Loved having his thoughts in his POV as they were right on with someone in his predicament with that one family member. They were at times harsh and if one was not in his shoes you would think he was a jerk. By this she made his character come to life.

I love a heroine who goes after what she wants. Amanda wants Preston. It is refreshing as do not see that in a lot of novels. I loved that she never gave up on Preston even though he was hot and cold. Preston does want Amanda but knows he can not have anything with her because of his secret. But her being so persuasive it makes it harder for him to step back. Amanda thinks he needs taming but really he needs saving. I felt she was the perfect heroine for him to be saved by. I loved once she found out about one of his secrets she was so supported of him and helpful.

Just for now was a page turner for me and Abbi Glines best work in the Sea Breeze series. I could not swipe my kindle fast enough to find out when and how Amanda does when she finds out his big secret. Bravo Abbi Glines, Bravo. ( )

This book is what every foster child's dream is made of. Or child with a horrible family life. I fell in love with this book, as with the entire series. The book made me cry. Made me angry. Made me want to hit things. Made me hurt for a family that couldn't do any better than what they were doing. Made me lose my heart to a character in a book. I absolutely love Abbi glines. Such a great author. Any author that can invoke so much emotion is amazing to me. ( )

Well hello there, it's been a while, hasn't it?

I've recently realised I start a lot of my reviews with the word Wow. So instead, let me begin with this:

Holy. Mother. Of. Wows. Everywhere.

[a:Abbi Glines|4872191|Abbi Glines|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1345377921p2/4872191.jpg] sure knows how to write a good book. Having read all the other books in the Sea Breeze series, I thought I knew what to expect. However, I just wasn't prepared for [b:Just for Now|15778138|Just for Now (Sea Breeze, #4)|Abbi Glines|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1348461168s/15778138.jpg|21491232]. It blew me away.

Don't get me wrong, the other books were all amazing, but this one just got to me.. It most likely had something to do with the flawless Preston Drake.

Did I mention yummy?

Frankly though, the entire book took my breath away. No, literally. The Prologue was so outrageously original that I had to go hyperventilate into a paper bag.

Ok, no I didn't. But I'd recommend keeping a paper bag handy when reading [b:Just for Now|15778138|Just for Now (Sea Breeze, #4)|Abbi Glines|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1348461168s/15778138.jpg|21491232]. You've been warned.

On a more serious note though, I thought the character development was amazing, and I feel as if Preston is almost a different person by the end of the book.

I mean, the guy has his flaws, but damn; he's got some good things going for him:

He's athletic, and good enough to have a baseball scholarship.

He manages to be so utterly adorable at times, despite his very- Ah, mature nature.

He's caring and looks after his three younger siblings, and ultimately makes the best choices for them.

He's patient when it comes to Amanda and doesn't make fun of her inexperience.

He has a way of making things right in the end. Even if it means he has to work hard to do so.

And he's just so goddamn huggable.

I'd highly recommend [b:Just for Now|15778138|Just for Now (Sea Breeze, #4)|Abbi Glines|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1348461168s/15778138.jpg|21491232] to anyone, and everyone who likes/loves/cannot-live-without new adult romances with such realistic, flawed and yet utterly lovable characters.

Ironically, [b:Just for Now|15778138|Just for Now (Sea Breeze, #4)|Abbi Glines|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1348461168s/15778138.jpg|21491232] will be one of those books that Just Stays with You.

I do feel a little sorry for all the women that Preston had to stop- seeing though, I bet they cried their little hearts out..

PS:
Madame Glines, if you're reading this, I know I want never gets, and that it's rude to make demands of people you've never actually met.. But Amanda got Preston and she really wanted him.

(I'm getting sidetracked)

So.. I really want a book about Krit; really bad! I'm a sucker for a band member, especially a lead singer!

Just keep it in mind please?

**SPOILERS** **SPOILERS**

Amanda and Preston's story is my favorite so far. I'll admit, I didn't care much for Preston in the previous stories. He was arrogant, annoying and disrespectful. While in "Just for Now" he continued to displayed some of the same characteristics we learn what made him this way. There is so much more to him. Preston grew up in an unstable environment with a mother who cared more about drinking than him. Preston made it out and is working hard to keep his baseball scholarship and keeping his grades up all while taking care of his mother's bills and three younger siblings. Preston cannot afford to loose his scholarship and finding work that is flexible with his courses and baseball training is very difficult. The struggle wouldn't be so much of a big deal and he will get by if it wasn't for the fact that Preston's three younger siblings relied on him to keep a rough over their heads and food in their mouths. Desperate to make sure that his siblings don't go without, Preston uses his looks and playboy reputation to sleep with older, rich women for money. Yes, Preston is a gigolo. At first, the job didn't bother him as much. Once Preston fell in love with Amanda, his best friend's sister, everything changed. How can Preston be worthy of Amanda's love when he is hiding such a huge secret from her?

I also enjoyed this book because of Amanda. Amanda Hardy is the younger sister of Marcus Hardy. We first met both characters in Breathe. Amanda was young and vulnerable. She always looked to Marcus to take care of her and pick up the pieces when everything in their world was falling apart. In Just for Now, Amanda's character developed. Amanda had had a crush on Preston since she was 16. However, Amanda knew that she wasn't his type. Preston was a magnet for "model type" females with large breasts. Amanda had her natural beauty and curves which she didn't feel was enough. She didn't realize her own beauty and appeal. She tried hard seducing Preston until one night he gave in. Preston was beyond drunk and for a while didn't remember if what happened between he and Amanda was real or a dream. The attraction and love between Preston and Amanda was one that they couldn't deny. Amanda saw Preston for who he really was. In this book Amanda displayed strength and determination.

I really enjoyed this story.
