I started this book not sure I liked Billie-Jo but she warmed to me even if she and her family are a little crazy. She's an Olympian Hockey player who's been sidelined from the pros due to injury. She just wants to play in the local beer hockey league. Lots of resistance and outright attacks to dissuade her. She's crushed on Logan since her teens, they get hot and steamy while trying to sort all the crazy around them and what they cause themselves.

Typical contemporary fare with silly misunderstanding and family angst galore.

Probably won't continue with the series. (

I am so very disappointed. I was really looking forward to reading this story and it was NOTHING like I expected.
Rude sisters! Sexist Men! and a crazy family made this book to much of a mess for me. It sounded fun and interesting and started out GREAT! The first couple chapters made me want to read the story but, then it all fell flat and I did not want anything else to do with it. I finished it only because I had to and I probably will not be reading the rest of this series.

This was a quick read. Growing up in the south I am used to names like Betty Jo (that is my mom's name), Billie Jo & Bobbi Jo. I liked Shane & Logan right away. Enjoyed the hockey part of the story & can see guys in a small southern town reacting negatively toward a woman joining their team. The triplets each have their own personality & insecurity issues. Not all that unusual.

The attraction between Logan & Billie Jo was sexy & intense at times. I thought there was a good balance between sexy scenes, hockey scenes, and family scenes. I am getting ready to start the next book "Collide" Bobbi Jo & Shane's story now. (
