Mikko the hedgehog is happy and content working in his garden and watching the world around him. His grandfather thinks it is time for him to accomplish something important, so Mikko goes out in the world. As he goes out to accomplish something important, he meets a lot of different animals who are working hard to accomplish something important. In the process, Mikko learns an important lesson about the meaning of happiness and what is important in life. ( ) This is a good example of fantasy because it about a little hedgehog who’s grandfather tells him he is lazy and need to be like the rest of the animals that are doing things with their life but when he goes to see what they are doing he finds that those things would not make him happy and goes back to show his grandfather that he does know things that are helpful in his garden and that’s what he enjoys. media:water color Mikko the hedgehog is very happy the way he is, but his grandfather doesn’t think he should be- he thinks that he should be industrious instead of lying around watching things. Mikko finds many industrious animals, but none are happy.
