I liked this book for two reasons. I liked the plot of this book because the character goes through something really tough, but with the help of friends, he makes it through the problem and becomes a hero. A specific part of the book that I liked was the part when Quasimodo broke through is chains to carry Esmeralda to safety after she was taken away by Frollo. Another reason I liked this book was because of the pictures. They really captured the characters and I could tell exactly what was happening in the story even if their wasn't any words to tell me. I think that the main idea from this book is that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. ( )
