Étrange et habile petit roman qui, au moyen d'images et de gestes farfelus, engage un discours probant sur la féminité, le féminisme et le corps féminin. Makiko, en pleine crise de ménopause, qui veut se faire refaire les seins; Midoriko, en pleine crise d'adolescence, qui refuse de grandir et Natsu, face à ces crises d'existentialisme, a ses menstruations. C'est un traité de biologie, de sociologie, de psychologie qui se conjugue au féminin et tout cela dans quelques pages bien construites. Très réussi. ( )

This work is for the expanded novel and its translations, and in particular the English language edition of Breasts and Eggs.
