Loved this book but I am on the fence with my feelings about the main character of Tully. Her early life is such a tragedy and it shapes most everything in her life as an adult. While I have tons of sympathy for her, I absolutely hated some of the decisions she made. Things she did she knew better than to do them, yet she did them anyway. I know that young adults have not been in the world long enough to always make the wisest of choices; however, Tully was just out of control. She made her own bed and now she has to suffer the consequences. I also wanted to shake Robin. He is such a good guy (most of the time) however his failure to communicate only made a bad situation worse. They both needed counseling. Things would have been so much different it they had gotten counseling. In short, good book and great character development. Just be prepared to have a love hate relationship with some of them. In addition, this is a great book for discussion. So much to talk about you could write a thesis, or two, about the various topics. The effects of child abuse on adults alone is a subject that you could spend an entire lifetime of study. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
