Ugh. Never liked Hawkman, still don't, things barely explained, no desirable mystery, same-old same-old. ( )

This was much better than I thought it would be.. Of course, I could be a little biased. There were zombies in this. Yes, zombies. A bad black monster called Morphicus, a gentleman ghost, and a guest appearance by one of my childhood favorites... STATIC SHOCK!!! A.K.A. Static rounds out the cast of characters. I won't lie that I was thinking 2 stars nearly this whole read, until the 2nd to last issue when they throw zombies and Static in and it's just like what, AWESOME?! The latter half of this is much better than the first half, but if it can be beared it is most definitely worth it.

Adam's Review (3.5 Stars) : I first saw New 52 Hawkman in a Justice League comic I think. He looks vicious, so I thought I'd give "Savage Hawkman" a shot. Not being a fan of Hawkman specifically, it really just seemed like a normal superhero comic. The "Savage"-ness of this Volume didn't seem extremely over the top, but the art was fine. Overall, not a bad ride of a comic, just not one I want to dedicate my time to often. ( )
