Great romance novel.

Sophia Noirot is the publicity genius for Maison Noirot, the dressmaking salon she runs with her sisters. She's busy, her older sister just married a duke and she has too much work. She has no plans for romance.

But then Clara, their favorite customer, runs away from home and Sophia is forced to band together with the Earl of Longmore to find her.

Complications arise and the two fall in love.

Not that unintelligent people don't deserve love too, but I found it weird that we're so often reminded that the male lead is not smart. And not in an 'uneducated but he's got street-smarts' way, or savvy but also dyslexic- just genuinely slow minded. Every chapter or two it's mentioned again that thinking hurts his brain or that he struggles to hold two concepts in his head at once... Leads don't need to be perfect by any means, but this felt sort of unnecessary and harped upon. ( )
