Dix- huit ans plus tard, un détective privé prétend avoir découvert le fin mot de l'affaire, avant d'être assassiné, laissant derrière lui un cahier contenant tous les détails de son enquête.
Cet excellent thriller n'a pas le punch des Nymphéas noirs, mais il reste accrocheur... au point où je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de tricher un peu pour voir la fin! J'avais deviné l'ensemble, mais la superposition des intrigues parallèles et les quelques rebondissements (dont un ou deux étaient de trop, mais bon, ça fait partie du genre aussi) tombent à point pour continuer le momentum de l'histoire. Aussi, les personnages et les décors sont bien choisis, variés et attachants ce qui donne du relief au roman. Un moment très agréable et prenant qui permet de décrocher du tous les jours! ( )
