That plot explanation sounds needlessly complex, doesn't it? It ends up that the house gets saved by some liitle wood elves or "wee people." And Celerina and Gluey reunite and become true friends.
I don't think Seibold's style fits this tale of forest critters and elves very well.
As for characterization, Gluey is awesome but Celerina is lame. Meh. ( )
