Saint Dominic, the simple brother, the teacher of the faith, the preacher of the Gospel, and the person of prayer, drew many of his contemporaries out of confusion and to Christ. In the same way, Dominic can be a faithful companion on the journey of today's Christian. Preaching the Good News was Dominic's passion, the focus around which he fashioned the spirituality that he bequeathed to his followers, and the absorbing task that defined and gave vibrancy to his entire life.
