Legion is somewhat of a misnomer, but the buildup of coming action is good. There were also some pretty humorous parts to the novel, always related to the social status of monsters. I loved the Management. I'm also glad that Mosh is attempting to get back on his feet again. Fun stuff! A Monster Hunters International reunion of various chapters goes haywire quickly, when a creature from a World War II experiment is unleashed and attacks them. Another entry in the MHI series, lots of action, plenty of gunfire, twists and turns, quite a mix-up. Always entertaining and worth getting. Firefox crashed about 1/2way through my first draft. Bleh. So here is another take. This review represents my 1000th review here on GR. I'm pretty proud of that fact. Even though some of those reviews are of the I hate/love this book" type. At least I took the effort, you know? So, MHI: Legion. A monster hunt that is totally hardcore, of global ramifications AND is just a taste of the badness that is coming. Imagination, determination, BIG guns and serious bodily harm all round. Team Force Unicorn. Only the creepy douchebag leader guy is part of this story. And he really makes the former leader of MCB look like a nice guy. Then you get all the different revelations: Ok, try this instead: Then, right at the end, Owen has the "Prophecy Talk" with his dad. Well, they start it, and the book ends. This is my only gripe with the book. I don't mind a good cliff hanger ending, but this was just totally out of control douchebaggery [and yes, I declare that to be a real word]. An awesome quick read with guns and monsters that left me wanting the next book NOW." aucune critique | ajouter une critique

HTML: When hunters from around the world gather in Las Vegas for a conference, a creature left over from a World War Two weapons experiment wakes up and goes on a rampage across the desert. A not-so-friendly wager between the rival companies turns into a race to see who can bag the mysterious creature first. Only there is far more to this particular case than meets the eye, and as Hunters fall prey to their worst nightmares, Owen Zastava Pitt and the staff of Monster Hunter International have to stop an ancient god from turning Sin City into a literal hell on earth. This is the fourth book in the series; start at the beginning if you like this type of rough-and-tumble, gritty urban fantasy. ( )
