Un altro bellissimo romanzo della Phillips, un’altra storia avvincente, appassionante e anche molto divertente.
Lucy, la figlia dell’ex presidente degli USA, sta per sposarsi con Ted Beaudine, ma Meg Koranda, la sua migliore amica si rende conto che forse c’è qualcosa che non va.
Una vicenda che riserva molte sorprese che ci riporta a Wynette dove ritroviamo anche i personaggi che hanno dato vita ai libri precedenti, in un susseguirsi di fatti e avvenimenti che tengono sempre viva l’attenzione e che rendono ancor più memorabile la storia.

Ultimo bellissimo libro di una serie che mi ha convinto e conquistato.
Lucy è fuggita dall’altare dove avrebbe dovuto sposare l’uomo migliore mai incontrato ed è salita su una moto sgangherata guidata da uno sconosciuto poco raccomandabile con l’intento di mettere più distanza possibile con la sua vita passata. Oltre a voler ritrovare sé stessa per cercare di dare una nuova direzione alla sua vita Lucy però vuole anche scoprire chi è Panda, l’uomo che l’ha aiutata, ma che non vuole rivelare nulla di sé e che sembra nascondere qualcosa di profondo e doloroso.
Sulla vicenda principale si innestano, come sempre, anche storie secondarie (Bree, il piccolo Toby e Mike, Temple e Max) che rendono ancora più avvincente e coinvolgente la lettura.
Un’altra perla dell’universo della SEP che si conferma, nel genere, una delle migliori penne.

There were quite a few characters in this book and all of them had nice interesting stories. The love between the hero and heroine was believable and I could have used more of it but since I greatly enjoyed the secondary plot lines, I guess I won't complain too much. Signature SEP with quirky characters and snappy dialog. Loved the heroine and her disguise. Loved the grumpy hero. Recommended. ( )
