No Two Alike by Keith Baker is a short picture book that address similarities and differences. The book is told through two red birds that compare animals, nature and things as they travel through the forest. Although this book doesnt fit within the "normal" category of a disability book. I would use this book as an introduction to reading books addressing disabilities. This book is subtle enough to have class discussions about our differences. It could potentially help students to acknowledge and respect people and their differences (disabilities). Keith Baker's picture book teaches children that everything and everyone are unique. The story tells of two little birds that while flying around discover the similarities and differences between things, and is filled with soft colored illustrations and rhyming text that pulls the readers into looking closely at the pictures. It is a great story of uniqueness and will help young children with their self-esteem. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

It's just not that great.
You want it to be. After all, the premise of how things are alike yet different. How we are all unique. These are good themes in life and to be taught via picture books. However.....it doesn't wow me.
That is also odd given that the author/illustrator does "LMNO Peas." That book is a hoot and half. If only the same could be said for this. ( )
