This next book in the Lucy Kincaid series, Silenced, is complicated with a large cast of characters. I started with the audio book but I had to switch to print to keep everyone one straight in my mind. I continue to be a Sean Rogan fan. He is perfect for Lucy. There is a surprise (for me) with the return of a character from a previous book who added a lot to the suspense of the story.

I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

The audio is well done. The narrator, Kate Udall, does a nice job bringing the characters to life. I enjoyed listening to her performance, but I needed to read along to keep the characters straight in my head. I will listen to more books in the series in the future. (

Lucy Kinkaid, FBI analyst & agent pending training, is assigned to a case after the mistress of a Senator is killed. One thing leads to another, and the single murder turns into a much more complex case involving blackmail at high levels, murders of young prostitutes and the story of how one young woman is doing everything within her power to protect her sister from evil Dad.

Some great characters, including 'support' roles, and a fast paced story made this a thriller I didn't want to put down.

Great story, but not enough twists. Romance was just in the right amount. Very small sex-scene.
Story was straightforward, no real surprises, well, one little. Fast read, very good paced.
Highly recommended, but no 5 star. (
