Is he?

"How Could My Husband Be GAY!" is an autobiography about the life of Ondrea and Marceous King. I must say that this book took me on an emotional roller coaster. At one point I was really calm, but then I found myself highly upset and talking to the characters of the story.

The first sign of an issue was on the big day. Ondrea's family did not approve of Marceous but supported her decision to marry him in spite of their reservations because she was determined to marry him. The wedding day, as any wedding day, was planned out but Marceous had his own plans. On a day when the bride should have been the center of attention, Marceous and his mother, Beulah Mae, decided that they would make their own grand appearances- Marceous with a top hat and a cane and his mother dressed as Cleopatra.

Another sign was the fact that he was still a momma's boy. Ondrea was overly patient. He was abusive mentally and verbally but Ondrea wouldn't leave because she strongly believed in her wedding vows. Marceous was very controlling also.

There were some secrets that were being hidden. Marceous and his family would stop at nothing to keep those secrets hidden, even if it meant destroying the ones closest to them.

"How Could My Husband Be GAY!" is told in great detail, from the wedding, to home life and even childbirth. Because of the manner in which the story is told, I felt as if I was right there with her. There were moments where I was mad at her for some of the BS she put up with. His BS would have had me taking off my earrings and opening up a can of whoop a--! Other times I forgot that it was an autobiography by some of the stuff that really happened. Made me wonder; why?

This was a must read and a story that needs to be told. "How Could My Husband Be GAY!" is a well written book.
