A good book for odd moments, since it comes in short bits. ( ) Absolutely essential reading! For instance, did you know "More Australians believe in space aliens than believe in God, despite the fact that more Australians have been to church than have been abducted by UFOs." Or had you forgotten that our former Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser was found trouserless in the lobby of a Memphis hotel back in 1986. Or more seriously had you heard of Pemulwuy, an Aussie version of William Tell, Ho Chi Minh or Robin Hood who united tribes and waged a liberation struggle between 1790 and 1802? Nor had I. Poignant pointer to our racism that has declared blacks a non-people. Heaps of serious and not so serious stuff here, mostly written as witty entertaining notes. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
