It was weird to see a non mating bond couple. And this really was a continuation of Sienna and Hawke's stray. Too much of them. Riaz and Adria seemed more a secondary couple. A lot was going on in this book. Perhaps too much. It all kind of got jumbled up. However, the ending with Kaleb is so intriguing. What, or who, did he finally find? I'm very interested to find out. Hawke and Sienna's book is a tough act to follow, which is why I think this one switched gears a bit. Sure, there is angst (as set up by the premise) but the majority of the book is sugary sweet, loving scenes between various couples. I do have to say, thought, that I was a wee bit disappointed by Adria's baggage - aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Maybe I'm grumpy or something, but I didn't like this nearly as much as I did in 2020.
This book doesn't advance the series' plot much. It had some set up for future books and touched base with some past couples. The main couple for this book seemed like an afterthought.
But I appreciate that the author gave Adria and Riaz a different story than previously shown in this series and I'm glad that they got their HEA.

Original review:
I like Adria and Riaz. They've both dealt with a lot of things that have damaged them, and they grow a lot in this book.
My only real complaint is that Sienna and Hawke are in it almost as much as Riaz and Adria. I like Sienna and Hawke, but it was a bit much for me. ( )
