I recently saw her on a panel at the Decatur Book Festival and she was talking about her newest book The Waking Dark. She was claiming that it is a horror novel reminiscent of the old Stephen King novels. I have been wanting to read a horror novel recently. Maybe I'll be picking that one up soon. I also admit that Max had me on his side for the longest time until Eli revealed the truth about him. Adriane turned out to be a really shitty person and friend, though I do feel slightly bad for her because she was the only person not connected to the scheme in a sinister way, but dragged along and used anyway.
