Debating on 'Fantasy' 3.5 Stars I saw a lot of my friends loved this one. I didn't. For numerous reasons. I got my copy from my digital library. It quickly became apparent it is a Very Old copy! There was no table of contents nor 'About This Book' in my kindle copy. So navigation was impossible. There were numerous and assorted editing errors. There was an overabundance of repetition that almost had me dnf'ing many times. There were times the dialog and actions were juvenile and cheesy. There was many times the writing became Overly Wordy. It ended very abruptly. So I really had a hard time finishing this, but I was determined. With all those negatives I will say it was an interesting premise. There was a lot of action and suspense. The main characters could have been better, but they did have my attention. Most of the intimate scenes were adult and steamy. I did connect to them somewhat, just not to a point that it really 'Moved' me. The world build was interesting. There were other side characters that were also very interesting and helped me connect more to the story. I will probably read the next story in this series, but not anytime soon. I just hope when I do that my library copy is the updated version!
