This book could have been incredible - the events are intriguing (based on a true story), and the experiences harrowing. But somehow the author managed to make the story itself very boring - to the point where about 2/3rds through I debated even finishing it. But I stuck with it, just so I could know the fate of those on the Jeannette without having to resort to Wikipedia. ( )
