Romance I've been reading my way thru Robyn Carr's Virgin River Series an have really enjoyed it, becoming quickly engaged in the people and the town. I've found Denny and Becca's stories to be one of my favorites, perhaps because of it's potential for being a real story. Most couples in Virgin River fell in love at first sight and were married in 4 months (or so it seemed). Though I didn't plan to read this as a Christmas read, it was the next book in order for me. I read it in one day, on Christmas Eve and it just felt special. Denny dumped Becca when he headed off to war. Now he's back in Virgin River, so Becca invites herself to the men only hunting vacation, determined to show Denny that her heart isn't broken. But the weekend doesn't go as planned - she breaks her leg and is laid up in Virgin River for a few weeks, in the company of Denny. Back stories of the town and setting up characters for the next book make is interesting. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Romance.
This year, Becca Timm knows the number one item on her Christmas wish listgetting over Denny Cutler. Three years ago, Denny broke her heart before heading off to war. It's time she got over her silly high-school relationship and moved on. So she takes matters into her own hands and heads up to Virgin River, the rugged little mountain town that Denny calls home, as an uninvited guest on her brother's men-only hunting weekend. But when an accident turns her impromptu visit into an extended stay, Becca finds herself stranded in Virgin River. With Denny. In very close quarters. As the power of Christmas envelops the little town, Becca discovers that the boy she once loved has become a strong and confident man. And the most delicious Christmas present she can imagine. "Carr has hit her stride with this captivating series."Library Journal. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
