Short but catered to a favorite trope - plain and insecure heroine. The angst was resolved a bit quickly (I would have preferred that be dragged out rather than the bulk of the story be sex scenes) but still a nice, if brief, read. ( ) Sara wants more of her husband’s attention in bed as well as out of it in Natasha Blackthorne’s WALTZ OF SEDUCTION. Colin heard his sister tell of the degradation of the marriage bed when he was young and determined then never to put his own wife through those degradations. Sara will do anything to bring Colin to her bed more often and Colin is trying to keep his animal urges away from him. Finally one ball when Sara wears red and other men look at her, Colin realizes he must make others see her as his wife and so he plans to make her waltz with him at her birthday ball. Will that bring Colin to Sara’s bed? Can they both get what they want? I liked Sara and Colin. They are a good couple who have communication problems. The Regency period’s mores keep them both from saying what they need to say to give them the marriage they want. Both are in love with the other. When Colin realizes other men lust after Sara he knows that he must lay claim to her in public and what better way than the waltz? Sara cannot dance so Colin teaches her in their bedroom and Sara gets the loving she wants. Colin finally gets what he wants with Sara and realizes that maybe what his sister had told him as a youth is not true for all women. I liked the lustiness that overtakes them and causes them to finally admit what they had kept secret. Reviewed by Sarah L. ebook provided by Ellora's Cave Here is a tale of two newlyweds who, rather than communicate their desires, wants and needs to each other, base their interactions on how they believe the other wishes to be treated. The sadness and frustrations Sara and Colin are feeling are very evident. Upon the advice of friends, Sara wears a new ball gown in a risqué color hoping to tempt her husband. Sure enough, when Colin sees the reaction from other men he realizes he needs to stake his claim publicly to keep them away. Colin informs Sara they will be waltzing together as a couple at her birthday ball. This leads to waltzing lessons in their chambers and so much more as they start to discover each other as a couple both intimately and emotionally. This was a delightful story and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, passionate, erotic romance. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Book three in the Talson Temptation series.Kidnapping Rowe Trainer, co-heir to Chartrell Shipping, might not have been the smartest thing Val Talson's ever done, but he wants answers, fast. He couldn't have expected the beautiful little bully to be half-human, nor could he have anticipated that she could turn the tables on him so easily. She's powerful, and he's learned to be wary. His violent arousal in her presence makes little sense. Lust he appreciates, but the deeper draw to his rival baffles him. Soon he can't think of anything but Rowe. When he finds her again, he gets more than he bargained for-attraction not only to Rowe, but to her bodyguard as well. Then add the shock of her Selection-a female Otra's readiness to mate.Val doesn't intend to give in easily. He'll handle rogue saboteurs, Rowe's larger-than-life bodyguard, and the idea that he's entered the Testing, the time in a male Otra's life when he's ready to bond to his destined mate. As for Rowe...Val's more than willing to give her what she deserves. And then some. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
