( ) This is an action packed thriller of the highest calibre. Take a group of spoilt rich kids, dump them in the woods for an adventure party that goes terribly wrong, arm them only with sharp sticks against a gang of ruthless gangsters and you have a story that is pure escapism. Luckily for the teenagers forensic psychiatrist Jo Beckett and her survival expert boyfriend stumble across them. Jo turns out to be an all action heroine and her boyfriend makes a great sidekick. Together they embark on an adventure that the teenagers never would have envisioned happening. Gardiner has given us a breathtaking journey of a fight for survival and I enjoyed every page. I did find that I needed to suspend disbelief as some of the stunts are slightly far-fetched but they made for some edge-of-the-seat reading. Great fun and pure escapism, I highly recommend this book. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
