This chapter book is a detailed chapter book that is very intriguing. Although there are not many illustrations in the book, the illustrations that are included in the book help the reader to picture what the characters look like, and also helps them picture many of the events that are occurring. I really enjoyed this book because the author teaches life lessons within the book. For example, this book can teach students to not blame someone for something without having all of the facts first. This book would be a great book to read to Kindergarteners, first graders, second graders, or even third graders to help get them into the Christmas holiday spirit. I also enjoyed this book because it talks about the different holidays that people celebrate during Christmas time, since not all students celebrate Christmas. ( )
