Herbert's little vignettes of daily life and character sketches are really great, as if taken from slice of life literary fiction. You really get a feel for and care about nothing characters that way which is unusual in a horror novel. The plot itself seems clichéd now thanks to a plethora of similar stories told since this book was published in 1976, but it's still quite good. The basic premise is familiar, since it’s been ripped off several times since Survivor was first published in the mid-70s: A man is the only survivor of a passenger plane crash, in fact he walks away unscathed. Soon people start dying in gruesome ways around the crash site. An entertaining and chilling read. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
It had been one of the worst crashes in airline history, with over 300 dead and only one survivor. Now the dead were buried and the town of Eton tried to forget. But Keller, the survivor, wanted to know what unseen forces had left him still alive. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
