Throughout the book the baby hippo sees other babies kissing their mamas goodbye when then realized he forgot to kiss his mama. With this sweet plot that all young children can relate to I think the best learning tool in this book is the use of descriptive words. As the baby hippo travels through the safari he walks through mud, rocks, banks, grass, and trees. Each of these surroundings is descried with adjectives such as: squelchy, bumpy, mossy, long, and leafy. This book is ideal for young minds to expand their vocabulary and broaden their schema for all types of words. Kiss Kiss! was about a baby hippo who forgot to give his mother a kiss before going out to play. He passed all sorts of baby animals giving their mothers a kiss. He remembered he forgot to give his mother a kiss, so baby hippo ran back to his mother to give her a kiss. This was such a cute book. I would read this to my students on Valetine's Day because it is about love between a mother and baby. Baby Hippo wakes up one morning and is ready to play. He leaves to go play without kissing and telling his mother goodbye. As he goes through the jungle she hears other animals kissing their mothers. Baby Hippo returns to her mother and gives her kisses. This is a great book to read to children, it is great to teach them never to leave without saying goodbye and kissing your parents. Still to this day I kiss my mother and father whenever I leave the house just because you never know what could happen. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Baby Hippo is in such a rush to play one morning he forgets to kiss his mama, but strangely all the jungle noises seem to remind him. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
