Chemistry is a textbook oriented towards teaching high school level chemistry. It is based on entry level chemistry and covers only the basics, never going as in-depth as I would like. The authors, howver, have done an excellent job at presenting the concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. The writing style, pictures, graphs, and drawings make the concepts very easy to comprehend. I was able to understand nuclear chemistry much more clearly after reading this book than my normal textbook. The book covers topics from nuclear chemistry to electrons and atoms, but each is easy to make sense of. I would definetly recommend reading this book to anyone who is learning chemistry, or just needs a refresher. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Prentice Hall Chemistry meets the needs of students with a range of abilities, diversities, and learning styles by providing real-world connections to chemical concepts and processes. The first nine chapters introduce students to the conceptual nature of chemistry before they encounter the nore rigorous mathematical models and concepts in later chapters. The technology backbone of the program is the widely praised Interactive Textbook with ChemASAP, which provides frequent opportunities to practice and reinforce key concepts with Animations, Simulaitons, Assessment, and Problem-solving tutorials.
