What will draw children into this book are the pictures. The author used real photographs from the Hubble space telescope. This is probably a fourth grade book at the youngest, as the information is a bit advanced and the book a bit long. But this would be essential for any library science section. Because this could be a controversial subject--with its information about creation--teachers may want to pick and choose what they do lessons over in this book.
Students could build models of telescopes they design themselves out of different materials. Students could take the information from what they learn in this book and create their own "space photographs" of super clusters, galaxies, nebulae, black holes, etc.
