Divided into two parts, a "manual" that gets readers not already in the know up to speed on what D&D is (and it's not a "game"! Oh no, sir. Following Levi-Strauss, it's a ritual: open-ended, stylized, binding people together, not creating winners and losers) and a "scenario" where in our heroes go to Lake Geneva, find Gary Gygax, and RP with him. Turns out he actually was a total baller back in the '80s; tangentially, LaFarge also finds reason to reprint the "harlot" random encounter table from the original DMG. Are you a "saucy wench" or a "brazen strumpet"? There's a lot of reasons to read this piece. The Believer. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique
