I liked the book because of the illustrations. They were well drawn and fun looking and they perfectly illustrated what was really going on in the tale. Like just showing the size of what that green bean was allowed the reader to really see how big it was. However, I didn't like how the characters that much because to me they weren't really that well developed. I just felt that they really just blew over the main characters like the farmer because all they said was he was a farmer and he grew a large green bean that he decided to give to his queen. I just never really enjoyed that there was no real character development. But I did see that the main point of this story was to share what they have with others and good things will come to them. ( ) I like this book because of its writing. It is well organized and fun by having a queen and a giant green bean. Students will enjoy looking at the colorful pictures as they find out what the old couple does with a giant green bean. It also provides a little rhyme at the end which is useful when teaching about sounds and words that sound the same but aren't spelt the same. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
