- Off Square Books, at 129 Courthouse Square, is the middle of our bookstore-in-three-buildings, just a half a block east of our main location, Square Books, and a half a block south of Square Books Jr. With its single-level retail floor, skylights, five fans on the high ceiling, and giant front windows that roll up when the weather is fine, it is the perfect location for events, lifestyle and leisure books, magazines, games, gifts, bargain and used books.
Here you may find a thoughtful selection of books on art, photography, architecture, gardening, cooking, crafts, and travel. Need a gift? We have cards, puzzles, and a variety of items that range from very useful to completely frivolous and wacky.
Always looking for a good deal, several times a year we buy large lots of bargain books from close-out distributors and pass the savings on to our customers. We also buy and sell used books.
