Description :

The Festival will host a celebration of books and book-related arts, all showcased within the Hannon Library’s beautiful architecture -- located in the heart of Southern Oregon University's campus. Many facets of the community will be brought together for this event, including authors of fiction, poetry, drama, and nonfiction categories like health and fitness, local history, cookbooks, and more. This is an opportunity for area writers, artists and publishers to present, read and display their works. Special interest is given to works on Southern Oregon topics by local and non-local authors.

The Friends of Hannon Library are proud sponsors the Ashland Book and Author Festival. The Friends financially support the Hannon Library, offer a speaker series throughout the year, and a summer film series. The Friends encourage you to consider membership, to take advantage of the many resources of the Hannon Library.
