My favorite bookstore in SoCal. It's always an adventure walking through the secret bookshelf door in the back to find something beautiful, like a tiny French dictionary from the 30s or a pristine copy of Neruda. The proprietor is super friendly, and Pannikin (the coffeeshop next door) is a nice place to sit and browse through your finds. A+++
