- In the middle of Fitzroy's cafe society, adjacent to the über-fashionable Gertrude Street and just minutes from Melbourne's CBD, Page Two is located in a warehouse which began its life as a furniture factory in the 1930s, housed an aboriginal arts & craft group in the ‘60s, and became the Australian Print Gallery workshop in the ‘80s. Now my internet-based bookshop, visitors are welcome to browse the shelves by arrangement, or most weekends. Please email or phone to check opening times.
And, in the tradition of all good bookshops, Page Two has a definite feline presence. Wilfred and Imogen, bibliophilic Burmese of affectionate but demanding temperament, often join me in welcoming visitors to our domain. - Ajouté par
