The Brockville Public Library was established in 1895 as a successor to the Brockville Mechanic's Institute of 1842. Its 1904 Carnegie Library building was constructed with a $15,000 grant and has been expanded twice (east on George Street in 1971 and south on Buell St in 1996). - Ajouté par
