This may be my favorite bookstore in the whole world. Andy, the proprietor, once explained that the store was his excuse for having a book collection numbering over 50,000 tomes. Andy doesn't have a computer. Nothing is inventoried. Books are double-stacked on shelves, piled on the floor, window sills, etc. But for all that, ask Andy for a specific book, and he'll know whether he has it, and exactly where in the store it is. All the itemized receipts are hand written on one of those carbon copy receipt books. The attached cafe serves great food. Homer is paradise.
