Email from Miguel Syjuco, author of prize-winning novel, Illustrado:

I'd like to invite those in the Philippines to an event I'm doing with the National Book Development Board to launch my debut novel, ILUSTRADO.

On April 14, 3pm, at the Filipinas Heritage Library in Makati, I'm fortunate to be joining Tony Hidalgo and Butch Dalisay for an afternoon of conversation about writing and publishing. Please follow this link for more details: http://nbdb.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=797&Ite...

With the launch in Manila only five weeks away, and the launch in North America seven weeks away, I'm really looking forward to meeting at the launch events some of you who I've known online for so long.

Warmest regards,

- Miguel

@ jmc:
The rules have changed significantly this year. Check it out:

@ mfp21:
I have no idea about the price in the Philippines. Since it's being published in the US, that leads me to believe the price in the Philippines will be based on its US-counterpart.
