New Year

Do the passwords, handshakes, agents, etc. change for the new year? I've misplaced my copy of the handbook, again.

Except for the ones I change, I am keeping mine the same.

I can see why you may think the agents have changed, but they are actually the same squirrels disguised as ducks. Not really smart because you can tell which ducks are agents because when you give them the cheese, they don't eat it but put it in the pockets on their utility belts. The system may be reviewed.

Passwords should all be changed at exactly 23 minutes past 11am on January 4th as usual. This year's password change algorithm is as follows: Type the first 47 characters of your current password backwards then type the numbers of the date of your initial membership, subtracting 3 from the month unless you joined in February, August or November in which case you subtract 72 from the year. Continue with remaining even numbered place characters from the password you had four years ago, also backwards and interspace them with the initial letters of the first 18 lines on page 143b of the handbook. Alternatively you can use '1234'.

Re: Handshakes

Be sure that the agent who collects your dues provides you with the current secret handshakes. If he/she does not have the handshake, you have probably been dupped by agents of some other secret society.

Double Secret Probation begins at 24 minutes past 11am on January 4. As usual. Anyone without the proper password and handshake (otherwise known as passshake and handword) moves directly into rehab.
