Pocky: Whats your favorite flavor?

I'd have to say mine are strawberry and chocolate with coconut

Standard chocolate for me. Tried strawberry, didn't care much for it.

But having said that, if you were to give me a box, I'd eat the whole thing!!

Chocolate pocky for me too! I keep wanting to try the dark chocolate that says it is for "men". I think I'd enjoy it too!

Gotta go with chocolate, though strawberry's pretty good to.

What flavors has everyone hear tried?
I've had: chocolate, chocolate caramel, strawberry, strawberry with strawberry chunks, a giant strawberry pocky with strawberry chunks, chocolate coconut, chocolate almond, and I think that's it.

I really like "winter" pocky. It's dark chocolate pocky with a dusting of cocoa powder. I like some of the flavors with almond chunks on them too, but honestly, if I'm going for wacky flavors, I usually buy some of the pocky competitors instead of pocky itself. Fran has a tiramisu flavor that's good. I also like most green tea versions of these things.

And banana and chocolate do SO go together!

Hard to say my favorite flavor of Pocky...probably tsubu-tsubu ichigo (strawberry with strawberry pieces) or milk flavored.

As for the ones I've tried....regular strawberry, tsubu-tsubu ichigo, chocolate, men's pocky (dark chocolate), coconut, milk, a couple different marble varieties, pudding, and I think I've had a melon or mango flavored one too.

I quite enjoy Pretz as well, and "salad" flavor is my favorite.

I've never seen mango flavored pocky, but I would definitely try it if I saw it. I've also never tasted any of the Pretz. Hmmm....maybe I'll have to try some of those too. I'll be on the lookout :D

I have a good friend who lives in Japan... and she sends me random Japanese snacks every so often. I must say, hands down, Melon Pocky is the best. But it's a seasonal Pocky and she hasn't been able to find it in about a year or so. T_T

Having friends that live in other countries can be fun. I have a friend that lives in Germany and the last package she sent me included 7 different types of European chocolate, and last Christmas I got something from Italy, Denmark and Germany.

I don't actually like melons, so I probably would not like melon flavored pocky, but seasonal stuff can be nice, since it's more of a treat if you can only buy it once a year.

I gotta go with chocolate. Classic. First time I had it was in Italy. I was never the same.

I have only tried the strawberry one and loved it.

when and where does everyone generally eat pocky?

I mainly just get it once a year at anime conventions ( and I stock up, lol)

The one I had was a gift. I am not the type to buy snacks all the time, so it is rare for me to eat candy. It was a great experience since I have always wanted to know how it tastes, though.

Though strawberry is my favorite, I definitely recommend trying other flavors.

My husband bought some for me for Christmas last year, along with a bunch of other Japanese snacks that I think he picked up at Borders, which is kind of an odd place to pick up snacks if you think about it.

Actually, if a local Borders sells manga, the probably sell pocky and similar stuff. At least the ones I've been to do.

I sometimes get pocky if I'm getting lunch at a Japanese supermarket or something. You can find it at a lot of Asian stores in big cities. There are also a ton of mail-order places that carry it if you don't live near a big city and you don't go to anime conventions much.

I love pocky, and if I want to buy it other then at conventions, my regular grocery store sells them or I go to an Asian food store near by.

What do you guys prefer, regular sized Pocky or giant Pocky?

I don't think I've seen the giant Pocky yet. Sounds interesting! About how big is "giant"?

Well its more expensive and to tell you the truth I much prefer the regular size pocky. I bought some for my friend last week and she also agreed that regular sized pocky is better.

The giant pocky is about 30cm long and about 1cm in diameter.

I've only ever eaten Chocolate, Strawberry and another type that I currently can't remember what it was (I only ate in once) I think it had crushed up macadamia nuts in it. I am really looking forward to trying to track down giant pocky now though =^.^= new idea: I want to build a castle out of boxes of giant pocky! >.>

I have only ever seen strawberry flavored giant Pocky. I wonder if you can get any other flavors?

My favorite is sour plum, but I've only seen it come out twice in the last 5 years. I also like blueberry and coffee.

I enjoy the chocolate flavored pocky, the milk chocolate and the dark chocolate.

I found a really cool pocky seller on ebay and some of the best are tiramisu and chocolate cheesecake pocky. dessert pocky rocks! XD

lol, chocolate cheesecake is different. I haven't seen that one either. I have seen a limited edition pumpkin pie one before.

I love strawberry and Grape but grape is now very hard to find in New Zealand

I have never seen the grape ones either, but I may not able able to eat them. I can only eat them if its artificial flavor (which I guess it probably is) since I'm allergic to grapes.

It was a character from a radio show my friends and I created back in high school. Honestly I think I'll be changing the username soon. It's much too bizarre.

The flavors of pocky come and go every season. I'm never surprised if I only see it around for one month and then it's gone for a few years. There was a good pumpkin cream one around Halloween, but it didn't come back the next year. It keeps you trying new things.

I also remember the pumpkin one, I when to an anime convention after Halloween. Unfortunately I did not try it, nor have I ever seen it again.

Today I tried a caramel milk one, it was ok, but not something that I would buy again. I do like caramel, but for some reason this one did not seem so good.

On Sunday the 16th, I'm going on vacation to China (I'm Canadian). Maybe I'll find some interesting pocky flavors there.

Orange pocky, only found it once, and now I can't find it.

When I was in China I did not find any Pocky except at the airport. I found one very interesting flavor - lychee. Unfortunately I could not buy a single box. I had to buy in bulk (12 small boxes). I almost did not buy it, but in the end I really wanted to try it. Luckily it's good, if not I'd be stuck with another 11 boxes.

I find that once you open the bag (in the box) you can really smell the lychee, but the flavor is really mild. It's good, but I would most likely not buy it again.

Recently when I was downtown I found a small asian shop that sells Pocky (expensive). They had a few flavors that I had not tried yet, so I bought one. It's mixed berry. I was good, but I like plain strawberry better. The box was also different. All the other box I've bought you open then on the top, this one you have to open it on the side and the entire back of the box opens.

I got mixed fruit pocky thrown in to a purchase, and I was completely iffy about whether I would like it or not, but it was sooooooo good! XD

Men's pocky which is bittersweet chocolate
