I like GingerbreadMan's list so I will just steal it (and will add the already non-existing countries):)

I am targeting only fiction for now. And only books that I had not yet started :)

I will be using the second post here as a white-board but I will be adding any book that I finish in this first post.

Some changes in the list - now the list contains the countries that I can mark on the map - anything else is in a separate category under the standard list.

#2 What a good idea to allow for places which no longer exist - I hadn't even considered that possibility!

Scotland: The Unbelievers by Alastair Sim

Set in Scotland during the reign of Queen Victoria, the book is a not so bad picture of Scotland at the time and a nice crime/mystery book. It has its flows but was quite captivating one for the most part. The review is here.

#2: I had thought about allowing for more than one book for Germany, because the pre-unification literature of east and west Germany was different indeed. I might finally get to read that GDR science-fiction lounging on my shelf!
